Photo Share(Roxio PhotoShow)

The photo technology the I decided to use was Photoshare by Roxio. What it does is it takes photos and puts them in a slide show format for you. You can add sound, and captions, as well as a lot of other cool things like even thte format you want the pictures displayed, its actually rather cool. I think in teaching it would become helpful if you trying to help your kids get visual sense of what you are trying to teach in a fun and cool way.

It is very easy to use, you just upload the phots all at once and you are ready to start adding things to your photo's. Everything is easy to adjust and if you don't like somehting you can always remove it, I think its wonderful and totally user freindly, the only downside is that there are a whole lot of other things you can do with it if you upgrade and for me it seemed a little pricey, 39.99.

Some tips I would suggest, don't get overwhelmed by all that is available in the application, find something that suits you and decide on that simplicity. Don't over do it, because too much of a good thing is, well, you know, too much.

Online class presentation

Check out this SlideShare Presentation:

creating this blog

Hello, My name is Seth and I am a student at IUPUI who just started a class to help me enhance my skills in using  technology as a future teacher. This is the second University I have attended, transferring from the University of Southern Indiana last year.  I love music and sports especially sports teams from St. Louis, where I was born. I like to think i have a pretty good life, and as a teacher I wish to enrich the lives of others.

As an assignment I had to create this blog, I didnt find it too hard to start but semi-difficult to navigate. I just don't like all of the tabs that I have to navigate and the settings I have to make. I would tell people who are making a blog to keep it simple.
